BIOGRAPHY

Mica Lee Williams is a winner of the New York Int’l Music Festival Competition, live at Madison Sq. Garden, and was named a “Top Fifty Indie Artist” by Singer and Musician Magazine for her debut album, Lucid Dreaming High.  Since the album's release, Mica has garnered numerous songwriting accolades, including twice winning VHI’s Song of the Year Songwriting Contest and LA Women in Music’s Live Songwriter Competition. Track #3, “Elegant Dancer,” a swampy rock shuffle, appears in the popular CBS television drama, Ghost Whisperer; and track #11, the balladic and bittersweet “A Life Profound” is featured on the syndicated series America Lost and Found. Mica has appeared live on television, including being the featured musical guest on the KRON TV 4 comedy program, Stand up! It's Thursday Night!

With down-to-earth persona and stage presence, Mica Lee Williams consistently delivers outstanding, high-energy performances, and has toured the United States, Canada, and Europe sharing her special blend of melody and truth.  At her prior home in San Francisco,
she performed in some of the city’s top nightclubs, including The Boom Boom Room, The Red Devil Lounge, and Bimbo’s 365 Club.​

 

Released in 2012, Mica's 'family style' recording project, The Romance of Ruins, features musical talent from
across the country. The video single for her song “(Gotta Lot of Love) For Boston” is available for
viewing on YouTube.  

 

In her free time, Mica enjoys teaching and taking hot Hatha yoga classes, watching supernatural horror flicks,
reading heady historical fiction, and running the hundreds of stairs in her new mountainside home in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
